Publish Data to Microsoft Azure

May 04, 2016

If you’re using Microsoft Azure for storage and deployment, you can follow these steps to publish data collected by an agent to a blob container.

    1. Open the agent or collection in the Web Console.

    2. Open the Tools ? menu.

    3. Click Publishing.

    4. Click Azure Storage.

    5. Choose an option under What to include in the file. The default view is All items, which includes all the records collected by the agent. Don’t have any alternate views? Learn how to Sort or Filter an Agent’s Collection in this help article.

    6. Choose the file type you want to publish. Your choices are .csv, .tsv, or .xml.

    7. Choose when you want the data to be published. You can publish the data after every time the agent runs, on an independent schedule, or manually.

    8. Enter the (1) Storage Account Name, (2) Access Key 1, and (3) Blob Container name. Need help getting your access key? Click here.

    9. Click Test Azure Storage Settings.

    10. If the test worked, click Save or Save & Publish Now.
