Publish Harvested Data to an Email Address

After an agent runs successfully, you can have the results delivered to an email address as an attached file. Follow these steps to publish your data via email.

 

    1. Open the agent in the Web Console.

    2. Open the Tools ? menu.

    3. Click Publishing.

    4. Click Email.

    5. (Optional) If you have more than one view, choose which view to publish under What to include in the file. This drop-down shows the different views available for this agent; if you don’t know which one to choose, select the All Items option.

    6. Choose the file type you want to send in the email. Your choices are .csv, .tsv, or .xml.

    7. Choose when you want the data to be published. You can publish the data (a) after every time the agent runs, (b) on an independent schedule, or (c) manually.

    8. Enter the email address where you want the data sent. To use multiple emails, separate each email with a comma.

    9. Click the wrench ? next to the email address.

    10. Set the email subject line in the window that appears, and press OK.

    11. Click Save.
