Use Criteria to Capture Specific Items from a List


In addition to capturing lists, agents can collect data from a list selectively. Follow these steps to filter the information that is retrieved from a list of items based on user-defined criteria.
  1. Click Begin Item List in the actions list.

    Capture a List of Items

  2. Click Refine List in the toolbar.
  3. Select the field you want to use to filter the list.

    The options shown will reflect the data you are already capturing, such as price, star rating, and so on.

  4. Choose the appropriate criteria from the Criteria drop-down.

    For example, if you’re filtering by price, star rating, or another field containing numbers, choose a number-based criteria, such as Contains number greater than.

  5. Add an appropriate value to the criteria.
  6. Click Add.
  7. Click Save.

    All items in the list that do not meet your new criteria will no longer appear in the Captured Text Preview.
